We now offer the choice of using 1.5mm cable or 2.5mm cable on these 1gang extension leads, please note the default option of 1.5mm heavy duty cable is rated at 16amp & is 100% suitable for heavy load equipment protected by a 13amp plug-top but if you still want to increase the cable size to nearly double the rating of a 13amp plug-top its now optional to select 2.5mm heavy duty cable for example electric vehicle owners might choose the 2.5mm cable size to match the cable size used on 13amp EV charger leads.
